Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry Noodles

Ingredients

  • 250 grams flank steak, sliced thin
  • 250 grams stir-fried noodles
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red capsicum, sliced
  • 1 yellow capsicum, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Directions

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  4. Add vegetable oil and swirl to coat the pan.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  7. Add broccoli florets, sliced capsicums, and red onion to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are slightly tender.
  8. Pour in the sauce and stir until all the vegetables are coated.
  9. Add the cooked noodles and beef to the skillet with the vegetables and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  10. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
