Collection of Information

Information You Provide.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide. For example, your name, contact information, title, company, and other personal information may be collected when you: fill out a form on our Site, sign up for our newsletters, subscribe for an account on our Site, place an order on our Site’s storefront, complete a survey, enter a competition or promotion, participate in our social networking features, request customer support or otherwise communicate with us. The information you may be asked to provide may include your name, email address, delivery address, mailing address, phone, buying preferences, annual income, other demographic or profile information, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media network usernames and aliases, and other information you choose to submit. Users may, however, visit our shop anonymously. We will collect Personal Identification Information (PII) from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, however, it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities, such as purchasing goods and services from our storefront.

Additionally, if you elect to post material to any blogs, forums, or participate in our community boards that may be offered on our Site or social channels, then such materials will be collected and any materials you choose to make publicly available, including your personal information, may be available for all others to view. Even after you terminate your account, all such materials submitted by you on the Site or our social media channels may be retained by us and we may continue to disclose such materials publicly. By using these interactive forums, you agree that we are not responsible for any information that you disclose or communicate in such forums, and any disclosure you make is at your own risk.

If you purchase products or services through our Site storefront(s), Gaggler and third-party merchants with whom Gaggler has contracted to provide services to us may collect PII about users, which may include third-party credit card processors that access and collect your personal information, including, but not limited to, your full name, address, email address, phone numbers(s), and credit card details.

Certain Non-Personal Identification Information (Non-PII) about Users, which may include the browser name, the type of computer, and technical information about Users’ means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the internet service providers utilized and other similar information. Non-PII is anonymous and does not identify you personally. Non-PII is generally collected through the Site from four different sources: Internet protocol addresses and web logs, pixel tags, cookies, and other similar technologies as well as other Non-PII that you voluntarily provide.

IP Protocol Addresses/Web Logs

This site’s web servers automatically collect the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and log files of visitors to the Site. Your IP address is an identifying number that is automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). This number is identified and logged automatically to our server log files whenever you visit the site, along with the time(s) of your visit(s) and the page(s) that you visited. This information is collected in an aggregate form only and does not contain any PII. We use your IP address and the IP addresses of all users, for purposes such as calculating site usage levels, helping diagnose problems with the Site’s servers, and administrating the Site. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice on the internet and is done automatically by many websites. In addition to the Non-PII of IP addresses described above, we may also link your IP address to personally identifiable information for fraud prevention purposes.

Pixel Tags

We and our service providers may also use so-called “pixel tags”, “web beacons”, “clear GIFs” or similar means (collectively, “Pixel Tags”) in connection with some Site pages and HTML formatted email messages to track your use of our Site in order to provide you with more useful information and a more personalized experience the next time you visit. A Pixel Tag is an electronic image, often a single pixel (1×1) that is ordinarily not visible to Site visitors and may be associated with cookies on the visitors’ hard drives.  Pixel Tags do not contain any PII and allow us to count users who have visited certain pages of the site, to deliver branded services, and to help determine the effectiveness of promotional or advertising campaigns.

Location Information and IP Address

We and our service providers and advertisers may collect and share your location for personalization and marketing purposes using certain digital applications, wireless access protocol services (“WAP Services”), or mobile phone services. We, or the service provider, will obtain your prior consent to such collection only if required by applicable law. This type of data enables us and third parties authorized by us, to figure out how often individuals use parts of the Services so that we can analyze and improve them.

User Content.

This Site welcomes contributions from users in connection with the Services. In this policy, content provided by users is referred to as “User Content” and refers to user-generated material on the site including but not limited to, artwork, articles, and comments. Any content you submit to the service can be retained by us indefinitely. Any content disclosed to third parties will not reveal any personal identifying information, as described in this Privacy Policy.

General Usage Information.

We may gather usage information about Site users on an anonymous basis. Examples of such information include: the amount of time spent on our site, pages viewed, websites users originated from and websites users visit after leaving our Site. This information helps us create a faster, more efficient, and more relevant website. Shopify and Stripe

The Gaggler’s Online Store is hosted by Shopify Inc. They provide us with an online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. For payments: All payments online are secure online payments provided by Stripe, Inc. (https://stripe.com/ae). Please review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for each of these third-party service providers, as those will apply to your use of our storefront and purchases on it.

Information We Receive From Third Parties

We may combine online and/or offline information received from third parties with the information we have already collected from you via our Site or services. The third-party information is used for various purposes, including verifying other information about you (e.g., verifying your mailing address to send you requested products or services), conducting research, and enhancing the content and advertising we provide to you.

Third-Party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, as well as, our contracted shipping company, have their own privacy policies with respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

Accessing, Modifying, Or Deleting Your Personal Information

You can access and review your Personal Information in the My Account section of our Site. 

If your PII changes in any way or is incorrectly presented on the Site you should immediately update or correct your PII by accessing the My Account section on our Site and editing the necessary information. Failing to update or provide correct PII may impact Gaggler’s ability to provide you the Services correctly.

If you wish to have your PII permanently deleted from our Site, please let us know in the same manner as referred to above and we will take reasonable steps to delete it, unless we must keep your PII to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Disclosure Pursuant to Law, Rule, or Regulation.

We may share or disclose your information when we believe in good faith that we are lawfully authorized or required to do so or that doing so is reasonably necessary or appropriate to comply with the law or legal processes. Security and Retention

We store the information collected through the Site on restricted database servers. We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Although we take appropriate and reasonable measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. No internet-based site can be 100% secure and we cannot be held responsible for unauthorized or unintended access that is beyond our control.
