SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21
The winter season of the region’s first cinema in an indoor ski resort in the snow comes to a close on February 28, so if you haven’t been yet, now is the time to do it! Snow Cinema by Vox Cinemas allows guests to snuggle up on lounge-style seating and enjoy family-friendly flicks while having movie snacks and hot drinks delivered directly to your seat. With numerous screenings throughout the day, movies currently showing include Tom & Jerry: The Movie, The Croods: A New Age and Bigfoot 2 as well as new releases including The Little Things, Wonder Woman 1984 and Shock Wave 2.

Ticket prices for Snow Cinema start at AED 100 per person and include a cinema ticket as well as an F&B package consisting of a signature hot chocolate from Mirzam Chocolate Makers, popcorn (salt or caramel) and a bottle of water. For a more premium experience, guests can book the VIP chalet for up to four people, and includes a two-course meal from North 28 Restaurant, a hand warmer and premium gloves for each guest as well as an F&B package. All guests will also receive rental clothing (jacket and pants), a beanie hat, fleece gloves, socks, boots, a blanket, wireless headphones and a dedicated locker for their personal items.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22
As part of Alliance Française Dubai’s Together & Now Festival – Alliance For The Future, which aims to raise awareness around and support eco-citizenship and ecological transition, art exhibition ‘The World is Too Much With Us’ opens on Monday, February 22. Curated by visual arts writer and cultural journalist Anna Seaman, the exhibition showcases the works of six resident UAE artists who care deeply for the environment. Focusing on issues such as climate change, plastic pollution, endangered species and the role of activists, the artworks present a diverse message of sustainability, visualised by Soraya Sikander, Stephanie Neville, Huma Shoaib, Emma Skinner, Valentina Alexeevna and Jennifer Stelco. Running from now until March 7 at La Galerie, Alliance Française Dubai, Oud Metha, entry is free of charge.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 23
