It’s Time to Lift the Veil on Tarot Cards

Yes, they can change your life.

With all that’s happening – the chaos and confusion of the world – the effect it has had on us is far from negligible. This has called for the need to focus on our mental health and to start the process of healing. However, a lot of us don’t know how to get the right guidance, where to start, and what to focus on. In such cases, tarot readings are a powerful tool to assess our current situation, as well as get the necessary guidance for the times ahead.

Where Do Tarot Cards Originate?

When most people first hear the word ‘tarot’, it usually conjures the image of a Romani woman sitting with a crystal ball, looking into the future. Some people even relate tarot cards with negative energy. However, these are nothing but myths and misconceptions. Tarot cards were first introduced in Europe in the 14th century by Egyptian slave soldiers. They were initially introduced as playing cards and gradually got more popular because of their intricacy and peculiarity. In the 18th century, they were gradually accepted universally as divination tools.

How Does It Work?

Tarot cards are often considered mirrors of the soul. Your subconscious mind and the current frequency of energy that you are operating from influences you to draw out certain cards with specific symbols and characters, which provides you with a deeper insight into your past, present, and future, revealing hidden messages and presenting you with new perspectives and possibilities. A tarot reading is like a snapshot of what your life looks like at the time of reading. It is a universal language that speaks through a variety of archetypal symbols.

A good tarot card reading gives you an idea of your present situation, your past, where you want to be, and how to get there. You also end up getting an insight into unseen influences, patterns of behaviour, obstacles, and strengths. They also showcase hidden desires, actions, and goals, so that you can make conscious choices, understand the reason behind a situation, and get guidance for the next stage of your life. A good reading also shows necessary action that you can take and its possible outcome.

The Role of Free Will

It is vital to understand that the future is not a static or unchangeable thing. The gift of ‘free will’ allows every one of us to create the future we want. We make choices and decisions at every moment of our lives, whether we are conscious of them or not. Tarots help you tap into the most plausible future outcome that is the strongest from your current position in life. It is your free will to choose that possible alternative or not. If you wish to not take that possible alternative, the future will show a different possibility, and the tarot will highlight a different outcome the next time you get a reading done. In this way, tarots can help you take charge of your life.

The Science Behind the Cards

Understanding the cards and reading them is a science by itself. The entire deck comprises a total of 78 cards. These are divided into two major parts also known as Arcana. The Major Arcana comprises 22 cards and the Minor Arcana comprises the remaining 56. The Major Arcana highlight massive shifts and changes that occur in life. The Minor Arcana showcases daily trials, tribulations, and experiences we face in life.

Are Tarot Cards Accurate?

Tarot cards are often highly accurate as they pick up the energies of the individual and their environment, and act as reliable guidance tools. While using these cards with my clients and for myself, I have found that they are eerily accurate and often help identify various blocks and obstacles that were not identified earlier. Moreover, a lot of people have shifted their actions and helped themselves resolve various negative barriers through this approach.

One example: when one of my clients from a tarot reading session realised that her partner was cheating on her and started working on her relationship, which saved her marriage. Another client of mine wanted to choose between two prospective jobs and determine which one would work out better based on the readings. The tarot was so accurate that it predicted a major loss if the second company from the two would be chosen, and rightly so – the prediction was true as that company was shut down due to internal issues.

Can I Ask Time-Oriented Questions?

Tarots are used as a guiding compass by many because of the intuitive nature of the cards and the way they easily tap into your subconscious mind. As a result, tarots help you get a clear glimpse of your career prospects, relationships, family life, financial aspects, academic areas, and much more. Many people also use it to ask specific questions connected with the future as per a timeline such as, “How will my career turn out in the next three years?” or “What will my relationship with X be like in the next six months?” Then, depending on the probable outcome, they receive the right direction to act accordingly.

Can I Use Tarots for Others?

Tarot cards primarily function on tapping into the energy of the universe and the concerned person. You can ask specific or detailed questions about your loved ones, be it your spouse, parents, and/or children. You can also tap into the energy at your workspace to get clarity on which aspects you need to improve, such as the field of work, interaction with boss/colleagues, and networking.

Do Online Tarot Card Readings Work?

The answer is a definite yes. An online tarot reading works just as well as an in-person reading. Distance and place don’t matter as it’s essentially all energy at the end of the day. For a tarot session, it is not necessary to be present in person. Readings can be done from anywhere in the world as the very nature of energy is universal. All you need is the willingness to trust the universal message.

Is It All Just Based on Intuition?

The symbols on the cards are very specific and detailed, and need to be understood in the context and situation that they are drawn out on. Many people are under the wrong notion that tarot reading is just intuitive, and so try to read the cards based on their own intuition without understanding. This, as a result, brings forth ambiguity and lessens the reliability of the cards. Due to their very distinct imagery, you cannot simply assume. You also need to learn to read the meaning behind the imagery to understand the true meaning behind the cards and convey them in a neutral manner.

What Can I Use It For?

As we evolve, our situation keeps changing, and so do the guidance messages of the tarot. Thus, tarots can always be your divine saviour, especially when you’re confused about your career, facing relationship issues, dealing with a financial crisis, seeking a spiritual connection, or simply wanting to become more aware of your everyday life.

So, How Does It Benefit Me?

Decoding this powerful language of the universe through tarots has its perks. The benefits are magical and transformational, such as receiving an accurate description of one’s past, present, and future, making clear and conscious decisions, identifying one’s energy blocks and limiting beliefs, fostering peace and harmony, and ultimately getting a deeper sense of self.

To tap into this universal language and get to know yourself better, you can get in touch with the experts at Illuminations and give guidance readings a try.
