Human Design: Are We All Personally Coded at Birth?

A phenomenal system of your true self.

What if we told you that there is a system that explains who you are and how to respond to the world around you in the best way possible to maximise your lived experience? A code (of sorts) in existence that combines astrology and personality types that decodes how you were built and how best to make your way in this world. It’s called Human Design and was created by a person named Ra Uru Hu (birth name: Alan Krakower) in the 1980s, following a clairaudient experience involving eight days of hearing a “Voice” who dictated a system for how we all work based on our time and place of birth.

We know this may all seem a little nutty. What’s interesting is that when you actually generate your Human Design Chart, also called a Bodygraph, you will be quite surprised by how much your chart describes you accurately.

What Is Human Design?

Human Design is a system that combines the teachings of astrology, quantum physics, The I Ching, the Kabbalah, and the Hindu-Brahmin chakra system. Your Human Design Chart or BodyGraph is calculated by your birth date, time, and place to reveal your genetic design from birth. The Human Design Chart presents a unique map of your Human Design Type – an understanding of where and how to access your body’s consciousness and subsequently how to live as your true self. Human Design allows you to understand your uniqueness and provides navigation to live in a way that aligns with who you really are. This allows you to engage in self-exploration and self-acceptance for who you are, instead of focusing on being something you’re not.

What Are the Different Human Design Types?

One of the fundamental concepts in the Human Design system is the distinction between different human design types. There are four types each reflecting a distinct strategy of interacting with the world and expressing our aura or energy that is perfect for them. These types are the Manifestor, Generator, Projector, and Reflector. Each type has its own set of strengths, challenges, and strategies for living authentically. We explore each Human Design Type in more detail below.

There are four different Human Design Types or Auras and each have their own Strategy. A Strategy is a way of being yourself and releasing what you are not. Your Strategy will support you to align with your natural-born energy, instead of behaving in ways that go against it.

1. Manifestors

About 9 percent of the population are Manifestors. They are natural initiators and have a powerful impact on those around them. Individuals who have been primary influences in history and initiators of change are likely to be Manifestors. The Manifestor Strategy is to inform others of their decisions before they take action. When a Manifestor shares with others, this naturally relaxes those around them and removes energetic resistance, allowing them to initiate in peace. When Manifestors are moving through life without informing others, they can feel emotions of anger as a result of the resistance they experience.

2. Generators

About 70 percent of the population are Generators and are considered to be the life force of the planet. A Generator always has a defined Sacral Center, which is the center of life and the core of our reproductive capacity. Literally, it is the energy for life and work, and it is the Generator that builds the world. Their Strategy is to respond, as opposed to initiate. When Generators initiate from a mental place vs. a sacral place, they can end up feeling deeply frustrated rather than satisfied in their life and work.

3. Projectors

About 20 percent of the population are Projectors. Projectors are needed as an enormous resource for information in the future. Their Strategy is to wait for recognition and invitation and once activated they have the ability to see deeply into others. Projectors feel appreciated and acknowledged when invited and can be our most gifted guides. However, they often struggle with knowing when to offer their advice and how to balance their energy effectively. If they focus on the wrong set of people and therefore are not recognised they can become exhausted and bitter in life. Projectors are natural at mastering systems essential for humanity and when they use their energy appropriately they experience success.

4. Reflectors

About 1 percent of the population is likely Reflectors – a pretty rare find and very different from the other Human Design Types! So what exactly is a Reflector? If all nine of your Human Design Centers are open, then you are a Reflector, making you highly sensitive to your surroundings. Reflectors act as a mirror of society and have a uniquely adaptable Aura or Strategy that samples the energies of others around them and well, reflects them and sees things the way no one else can. Their ability to read others and their environment is a remarkable gift and when doing what they do best, Reflectors experience the wonder of life. However, if they end up identifying with what those they are mirroring, exhaustion and disappointment can ensue.

To truly grasp the depths of our Human Design, it is essential to understand our Human Design Chart, which acts as a compass in navigating our unique path. Once the Human Design Chart is known, a reading conducted by a trained and qualified Human Design practitioner can shed light on the nuances and intricacies of our true selves. It serves as a powerful tool for self-awareness and self-empowerment. Through an in-depth analysis of our chart, we can gain insights into our strengths, weaknesses, conditioning, and potential life purpose.

Exploring Human Design opens up a path to understanding our true essence, purpose, and unique traits. It provides a blueprint of our being, connecting us to our cosmic origins and enabling us to navigate the complexities of life with self-awareness, acceptance, and empowerment. From deciphering our Human Design Chart and Type, the Human Design framework offers a powerful tool for transforming our lives and embracing our authentic selves.

Unveiling the Power of Connection: The Impact of Relationship Counselling on Love and Harmony

Harmony Through Counselling

Relationships are an integral part of our lives, and they can bring us immense joy and fulfilment. However, they can also be a source of stress, conflict, and pain. When faced with challenges in our relationships, it can be difficult to know how to navigate them and find a resolution. This is where relationship counselling comes in.

In this article, we will explore the power of connection and the impact of relationship counselling on love and harmony. We will delve into the benefits of seeking counselling, the role of anger management in relationships, and how relationship counselling in Brighton can help you and your partner strengthen your bond.

The Importance of Connection in Relationships

The Foundation of Love and Harmony

Connection is the foundation of any healthy relationship. It is the bond that brings two people together and allows them to build a life together. When we feel connected to our partner, we feel understood, supported, and loved. This connection is what allows us to weather the storms of life and come out stronger on the other side.

The Impact of Disconnection

On the other hand, when we feel disconnected from our partner, it can lead to feelings of loneliness, frustration, and resentment. This disconnection can manifest in various ways, such as lack of communication, lack of intimacy, or constant arguments. If left unaddressed, it can lead to the breakdown of the relationship.

The Benefits of Relationship Counselling

Relationship counselling is a form of therapy that focuses on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening the connection between partners. It can be beneficial for couples at any stage of their relationship, whether they are just starting out or have been together for many years.

Improved Communication

One of the most significant benefits of relationship counselling is improved communication. A counsellor can help couples learn how to express their thoughts and feelings effectively and listen to each other without judgment. This can lead to a deeper understanding of each other and a stronger connection.

Conflict Resolution

Conflict is a natural part of any relationship, but it is how we handle it that can make or break a relationship. Relationship counselling can provide couples with the tools and techniques to resolve conflicts in a healthy and productive manner. This can prevent small issues from turning into larger ones and strengthen the bond between partners.

Strengthened Connection

Through counselling, couples can work on rebuilding their connection and strengthening their bond. This can involve exploring each other’s needs, values, and goals, and finding ways to support and nurture each other. A stronger connection can lead to increased intimacy, trust, and overall satisfaction in the relationship.

The Role of Anger Management in Relationships

Anger is a natural emotion, and it is normal for couples to experience anger towards each other at times. However, when anger is not managed effectively, it can cause harm to the relationship. This is where anger management and relationship counselling can be beneficial.

Understanding the Root of Anger

Anger is often a secondary emotion, meaning that it is a reaction to another underlying emotion. In relationships, anger can stem from feelings of hurt, fear, or frustration. A counsellor can help couples identify the root of their anger and address the underlying emotions.

Learning Healthy Coping Mechanisms

In relationship counselling, couples can learn healthy coping mechanisms for managing anger. This can include techniques such as deep breathing, taking a break from the situation, or using “I” statements to express feelings. These tools can help couples communicate effectively and prevent anger from causing harm to the relationship.

Building Empathy and Understanding

Anger can often be a result of a lack of understanding or empathy towards our partner’s perspective. Through counselling, couples can work on building empathy and understanding towards each other. This can lead to more compassionate and productive communication, even in times of conflict.
