Weekly Planner: What’s On The Agenda for June 27 – July 3

What are you doing with yourself this week?

SUNDAY, JUNE 27

This is a great date night deal if ever we saw one. Head to Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah’s gorgeous beachside brasserie Duo by The Bay from Sunday to Wednesday, and you and your SO can enjoy an exclusive dinner for two, choosing from a succulent steak or sea bass, two side dishes, two desserts, and a bottle of red or white for just AED 395 for two. Incredible!

From 6:30-11pm, call 04 777 2222 to book.

MONDAY, JUNE 28

It was crowned the ‘7th Most Instagrammable Cafe in the World’ and, to celebrate its 3rd anniversary, Tania’s Teahouse has undergone a mega birthday makeover. With a full interior and menu revamp – including new décor in a more muted pastel-toned palette, a flower-spurting teapot over the front door, and its iconic frame-adorned marble staircase featuring new art – there’s a host of photo opportunities in every corner of the pink and pretty Jumeirah hangout, as well as lots of delish new dishes to try. We’ll be making the most of our Monday by bagging one of the cute new upstairs booths and slowly working our way through the menu.

TUESDAY, JUNE 29

In a first of its kind, PR and communications agency TishTash is hosting ‘It’s a Girl Thing Period’, a one-day virtual event designed to tackle the taboo issues of menstrual and feminine health for women of every age and stage of life. Featuring a back-to-back schedule of interactive sessions from 9am through to 8:30pm, the day will focus on all aspects of menstrual, womb, and vaginal health issues to help females of any age, with expert input and discussions covering yoga, the environment, fertility and infertility, perimenopause, period poverty, nutrition, and womb-healing meditation, as well as an expert Q&A session with a leading gynaecologist.

Free to attend and open to everyone, participants can dip in and out of the daily sessions as they wish. Register at tishtash.com
