3 Awesome Dubai Restaurants – And What to Wear to Each One

Make your reservations and nail the dress code.

The holiday season means you have many long, lazy days ahead of you to spend with friends and family – and what better way to while away a few happy hours than in one of Dubai’s excellent restaurants? The emirate is known as a culinary hot-spot, and it’s easy to see (and taste!) why. Any kind of food your tummy desires is but a taxi ride away. Three of our not-to-miss gems include a Greek favourite, the hottest New York import, and a new beach hangout – and we know just what to shop to wear to each of them. Bon appétit!

1. OPA

So you won’t make it the Greek isles this holiday – that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy authentic kleftiko and the most fabulous deconstructed baklava this side of the Mediterranean. The vibe is chilled, with lots of dancing and plate smashing.

2. INDOCHINE

Everyone who’s anyone has partied at Indochine in New York, which has been a favourite of the fashion and art in-crowd for decades. The celebrity hot spot is known for its much-copied banana leaf wallpaper, cool vibe and Vietnamese fusion food. The good news is, it’s now open in Dubai! So break out your slickest city ensemble – we’re talking slinky party dress, high heels and fabulous hair.
