THURSDAY APRIL 1

Award-winning artist Gemma Gallagher returns to JBR’s highest rooftop restaurant this Thursday night for another fun evening of art and dining. 

Running from 8-11pm at Hilton Dubai The Walk’s Pure Sky Lounge & Dining, Design & Dine invites guests to create a colourful canvas featuring their favourite animal whilst enjoying two hours of free-flowing house beverages and bar bites. Aimed at complete beginners, internationally-acclaimed Irish artist Gemma will offer step-by-step guidance to guests as they create their own unique masterpiece, with all required materials provided by the venue. With spectacular panoramic views of Ain Dubai, Jumeirah Beach and Palm Jumeirah beyond, prepare to be inspired by one of the most gorgeous views in the city as you paint.

FRIDAY APRIL 2

Souk Madinat Jumeirah continues to shine the spotlight on the rise of sustainable dining options as the second Homegrown@Souk food festival comes to a close this weekend. 

If you missed the first Farmers’ Market last weekend, led by UAE-based agri-technology startup Veggitech, don’t miss your chance to explore the final market this Friday, April 2. 

Encouraging an ‘act local, think global’ approach, the free-to-attend VeggiTech Farmers’ Market gives visitors the opportunity to shop for healthy, locally- sourced produce, and interact with homegrown producers to learn more about produce options grown right here in the UAE. Open from 9am to 2pm, produce is available to purchase for as low as AED 10 per kg, while stocks last, inclusive of recipe cards from some of the popular restaurants at Souk. 

And why not make the most of your visit by stopping for lunch at one of the restaurants taking part in Souk Restaurant Week? With specially curated set menus priced at AED 99, AED 149, or AED 199 per sitting, participating venues serving up the AED 199 options include Folly by Nick and Scott, the award-winning restaurant renowned for its strong focus on flavour and high-quality produce, waterfront steakhouse The Meat Co., vibrant Alpine restaurant Publique, and authentic Greek restaurant Taverna, overlooking the Souk’s beautiful waterfront promenade. 

SATURDAY APRIL 3

It just wouldn’t be the weekend without a delicious roast dinner, so we’ll be heading to Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at Caesar’s Palace for a very special Easter Roast lunch. 

Available from 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm on Easter Saturday and Sunday, the indulgent feast includes an oyster and artisan cheese trolley and a traditional British roast with a twist and all the trimmings. Topped off with an Easter egg hunt and an appearance by the Easter Bunny, packages start at AED295 for a roast and dessert or AED 395 for a roast, dessert, and three beverages with both options including complimentary beach access after lunch. 

But if you’re in the mood for a celebratory minibreak, UAE residents staying at the resort over Easter can enjoy special rates, with 30 percent off the best available room ratesalong with complimentary half-board (breakfast and dinner at participating restaurants) for two people per room.
