New views, spa treats, lots of eats, and more are on the menu.

SUNDAY, APRIL 11

Dubai’s latest must-see is finally open – and it’s a sight to behold. A stunning observation deck that showcases a 360-degree view of Palm Jumeirah, The View At The Palm is located on Level 52 of Nakheel’s 240-metre tall The Palm Tower and offers spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf, Dubai skyline, and the island itself.

With direct access from Nakheel Mall, level two of The Palm Tower marks the entry point with a café, gift shop, and interactive aquarium tunnels. Visitors can also experience an immersive theatre that takes them on an interactive journey through the ground-breaking history of the island.

The View at The Palm also offers a 120-square-metre VIP lounge, boasting an outdoor terrace with spectacular views of the island, sea, and city, which is open for public bookings.

Open from 10am to 11pm from Sunday to Wednesday, and 10am to 12am from Thursday to Saturday, ticket prices vary upon the category of admission and begin at AED 100 for adults and AED 69 for juniors. Fast-track tickets begin at AED 175 for adult admission and AED 120 for junior admission, while VIP lounge packages begin at AED 350 for adults and AED 200 for juniors. Who doesn’t want to indulge in some luxury pampering all month long? Throughout Ramadan at all of SensAsia’s UAE locations, spa lovers can save up to 35% on two bespoke cleansing body treatments.

Priced at AED 299 (thereby saving AED 154), A Deeper Clean is a 60-minute treatment beginning with Charme d’Orient’s famed Pink Crystal and Argan Shell body scrub to gently eliminate dead cells and impurities while refining the skin’s texture, infused with coconut oil and vitamin E to smooth, nourish, and protect from harsh climates. An intense, muscle-melting massage using pure argan oil and the decadent, warming scents of amber completes this deeply relaxing and restorative experience.

If you fancy upgrading your treatment to 90 minutes, book in for Amber & Argan – A Deeper Ritual, which adds an extra 30 minutes to your massage using pure and ultra-luxurious argan shea butter infused with amber to seriously soften and hydrate skin. Priced AED 425 (saving you a whopping AED 228), this is the one we’ll be treating ourselves to at least once a week in the coming weeks!

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14

The hotly-anticipated Time Out Market, the world’s first food and cultural market based on editorial curation, has finally opened its Dubai outpost. Located in Souk Al Bahar, it offers an incredible taste of the city, featuring 17 of Dubai’s award-winning chefs and restaurateurs, home-grown local favourites, three stunning bars, as well as vibrant cultural and entertainment spaces.

The largest culinary and cultural destination to launch in the UAE, the fully-licenced Time Out Market Dubai is spread across 43,000 square feet and boasts incredible scenic views from its wraparound outdoor terrace, overlooking the Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa. The market’s design is as impressive as its food, with elements such as high terracotta columns framing the lofty interiors and reflecting a modern spin on a traditional Middle Eastern marketplace. A dramatic glass ceiling bathes the atrium dining area in natural light and provides a peek at the magnificent Burj Khalifa. Meanwhile, neon art displays reflect the urban landscape and artfully contrast with the overall aesthetics, replicating the grain and colour of the city’s sandy shorelines.

Featured within is a hand-picked selection of innovative concepts, including Masti, BB Social Dining, Vietnamese Foodies, Pickl, Pitfire, Brix by 3fils, Nightjar, Reif Japanese Kushiyaki, Little Erth, Scoopi Café, Long Teng, and Al Fanar. Five incredible and entirely new concepts will also be launched at Time Out Market Dubai, including Folly Workshop by Nick & Scott, Fulvio’s, Two Leaves by Project Chaiwala, Local Fire by The Mattar Farm, and Liban by Allo Beirut. Looking for a new place to celebrate date night? Look no more.
