Neasa Barry
Neasa Barry is an Irish Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and mum to three wonderful kids and two adopted dogs. She qualified in 2005 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland with first-class honours and clinical distinction. Upon qualification, she worked in hospital and private practice settings, both in Ireland and then the UAE, as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. It was her personal journey of recovery after the birth of her first baby, ten years ago, that ignited her passion for pelvic health. She felt an intense need to educate herself and other women about the often taboo issues of pelvic health. She completed her post graduate education in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy at Melbourne University in 2015. Since then, all her work and education have been in the area of pelvic health. She has completed numerous post-graduate qualifications in advanced pelvic floor physiotherapy, sex, and sexuality for pelvic floor practitioners, diastasis rehabilitation, clinical pilates, and managing pain issues during pregnancy and post-natally. Her most recent post-graduate studies were a two-year diploma in craniosacral therapy. Neasa believes in a holistic, whole-body approach to client care and believes in the innate ability of the body to heal itself when given the right environment, space, and support. Her passion is empowering and supporting women throughout their childbearing years and beyond. She currently works at Heal Hub Rehabilitation Center (@healhub_rehab) in Dubai. She is also the physiotherapy lead of @rebalance_me-now, a company providing fitness classes and support to the pre and post-natal women of Dubai.
