I would describe my style as sporty chic/casual chic, with a love for structure and minimalist design. I tend to gravitate towards a neutral palette and add elements of colour and drama with handbags and accessories. I like to stock up on basics whenever I get the chance and prefer to stay away from overtly feminine ruffles and layers. Having said that, I do have a weak spot for the floral designs of Zimmermann and Johanna Ortiz. My look is quite eclectic as I love to mix high-end and high street brands and enjoy discovering up-and-coming fashion labels during my travels abroad. Here are my favourite pieces in my closet, from my everyday basics to my statement heels and must-have accessories:
Shoes
These Malone Souliers mules are my go-to flats for any occasion. The delicate leather straps and metallic finish add the element of glam and are a great alternative to high heels for a night out.
If you love the shoe, buy them in every colour!
Definitely my mantra when it comes to these Gianvito Rossi ankle strap sandals. The feminine and sleek design along with the top-notch comfort make them the perfect pair to dance the night away in.
T-shirts
I am a complete T-shirt buff and can’t get enough of these logo and slogan tees. My collection ranges from the everyday casual to some statement styles with Adidas, Gucci, Zoe Karssen and Private Party being some of my favourites.
Jeans
These mom jeans are the most stylish fit out there, in my opinion. The high-waisted look is so flattering and versatile and can be worn day and night. Wear them with a pair of sneakers or sling on a pair of high heels for a more formal look.
Shirts
I absolutely love Palmer//Harding’s spin on the classic button-down shirt. You are sure to make a fashion statement with this oversized, off-shoulder version.
Bags
The Staud bucket bag is one of my top picks this season – it’s perfect for a city holiday or an island getaway. The chic design combined with the ease and functionality make it the It bag this summer.
Following on from the Cult Gaia Ark Bag craze last summer, the brand came up with a range of trendy shoulder bags this year. Add an element of pop to your look with its range of striking colors.
Jewellery
I am a keen admirer of vintage ethnic jewelry from India and tend to invest in a statement piece every now and then. I also love to pick up fashion pieces from Ken Samudio, Sachin & Babi and Oscar de la Renta.
